Suspicious Package!

They have shut off the block in front of my office (6th Street between Congress and Colorado) reportedly because a "suspicious package" was found outside of the (empty) State Comptroller offices.

I guess this is probably an exercise...

A portion of downtown was shut down after an abandoned backpack was discovered. By 3 p.m. the all clear was given.
After going through the backpack police found only miscellaneous items.
Sixth Street from Congress Avenue to Colorado Street and Colorado from Sixth to Seventh streets were all closed.
All building evacuations were canceled.

By "miscellaneous items" they mean 3 warm Milwaukee's Best Tallboys and half a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.
