San Marcos Cinnamon Rolls

I was looking at this article on Engadget and started thinking about those San Marcos specialty cinnamon rolls--what were they named? A quick Google search brought me to a forum where people were chatting about their favorites and yes, someone mentioned the Manske Roll. Do they still make them? Does anyone care? If you can believe it, I actually found them to be too greasy.

  • Manske rolls live in the same realm as, say, the 'bloomin onion' at outback steakhouse. just so rediculously over the top, that its not something to be eaten, but to be marvelled at. like carol's super ultra chocolate death to your stomach cake with two types of chocolate icing and topped with whoppers and chocolate covered oreos.

    another thing that leaps to mind is a raquetball sized jawbreaker.
